How to pair

Before using your mobile phone with Blue&Me™, you must create a pairing relationship between the mobile phone and Blue&Me™. After this procedure, Blue&Me™ will automatically connect to your phone each time that you enter the car and turn the car's key to the 'on' position.

To create a pairing relationship using manual interaction, follow these steps when the car is not moving:
Navigate to the Blue&Me Setup / Setup, Pairing, and then press <SRC> or <TEL>. Blue&Me™ starts the pairing procedure.
Blue&Me™ shows the mobile phone pairing PIN number on the display screen and also speaks the PIN number.

Procedure on the mobile phone

Select START, select SETTINGS.
Select CONNECTIONS, select BLUETOOTH.
Set ON in the BLUETOOTH status menu.
Press MENU, then DEVICES.
Select MENU, select NEW.
Select "Blue&Me", enter the PIN, press NEXT.
If asked confirm the name of your device by pressing NEXT.
Check if it is not Hands Free, press DONE.

Tips & Tricks

(1) Calling number:

Upon an incoming call, the phone passes the number of the calling party (CIL: Call Line Identification) with the "+" sign left out from the international prefix (such as +39 for Italy). This makes the recall "last received call" function unworkable.

(2) Call waiting:

Upon a second incoming call the system might not detect that the calling party hung up the call. This fact make the system behavior unpredictable.

(3) Audio transfer:

While keying-on with an ongoing call the audio path is not automatically transferred to the hands free unit. To transfer the audio path, press the <SRC> button.
